I had to fight a lot to be who I am today. I know it sounds corny, but I really did have to fight. Maybe because I'm middle eastern and our culture may be a bit too conservative than others.

For now, I work with my father and I teach at different schools. I love working with kids. The thing I loved most about teaching is having the ability to impact these kids lives so much. It helps that I am so much younger than all the other teachers...I feel like it makes the kids listen to me a lot more.

Growing up I never thought I was going to be a teacher...hell no, actually I still don't think I am going to be a teacher, but I think this is a necessary stepping-stone in my life.

What I really want to do is create something. To create something that can inspire people in one way or another, whether it be through my blog, or a book that I write or even just small little things that I do that I can be remembered by. I've actually been thinking of writing a book for some time. I want it to be an inspirational book. A lot of times, you feel lonely and may need that little push, that extra inspiration in life. That's what I want my book to be. I want it to be your best friend. your guide, that one thing you go to when you feel you need something that we can't always describe. I want you to be able to answer your own questions. I don't want to write it in a way that directs you and gives you a formula like you have to do "x" to achieve "y”. Instead I want you to mold your own story and figure it out with your own feelings and gut.

I'm also working a lot on my blog. It's about romance but I'm not talking about love romance. I'm talking about things we find ourselves immersed in. So it can be a person, or an object, it could be music, acting, dancing..whatever it is I just want to talk about passions and that moment where you feel outside of yourself. That moment where you're time traveling..you stop time, by doing this one thing or being with this one person or talking about a certain thing. I think each person has his or her own version of romance, like what fuels you is very different what fuels me. What you find romantic, I might not find romantic...but at the end of the day, they all make us feel a certain way thats unique and special.

I get a lot of my motivation through human interactions and nature. Like, when I see people talk about things they love or are passionate about, those moments really stick with me. And travel, I love that you always have a clean slate. You go to a country where no one knows you and you can be whoever you want to be. It's like a fresh start..you aren'e relying on people or language or whatever. You are just working through whatever obstacle you find at that time. you also are so much more open to learning. When you travel, you're looking to see something new, so every little thing you encounter has a huge impact on you. When you just live day to day in routine, you miss out on these things and end up taking life for granted.

If there was anything I could change in this world, I would want to create more love, people are so quick to hate, you know? It's astonishing when people choose hate over love. Like why would you choose hate? I think if we can get out of negativity and be true to ourselves..really getting to know ourselves and spirit, we can do so much good. I really believe deep down, everyone is good, it just gets fogged up sometimes by all of the problems we encounter in life.

Just listen to your intuition.
